On September 3, Zhang Xinqi, the deputy secretary of CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Mayor of Qingdao City inspected the new planning of Qingdao University. He gave much credit for the new model used in the project of science and technology incubator developed by the Qingjian Group and Qingdao University. Du Bo, who is both the chairman of board of directors in Guoqing Holding Group and the honorary president of Qingjian Group accompanied him to inspect.

 

During the inspection, Zhang Xinqi said that Qingdao Municipal Committee and Government encouraged the enterprises to develop through scientific creation and had made preferential polities. It was a good idea to build the science and technology incubator around the colleges and universities. On one hand, it can keep talents of colleges and universities for Qingdao and make Qingdao be their first station after graduation; on the other hand, backed against colleges and universities, it can acquire strong resource support and operation platform.

 

Zhang Xinqi said that Qingjian Group was an excellent enterprise and Du Bo was an excellent entrepreneur who dealt with business and things according to the developing requirements of the municipal committee and government. If the cooperation succeeds, the new model will be copied and promoted in Ocean University of China and all colleges and universities in Qingdao to drive the city’s science and technology innovation and economic development.

 

Du Bo said that after the primary measurement and calculation, the project of science and technology incubator has a capacity of 20,000 persons to pioneer their career which will cultivate a batch of talents with technology and creation. The project is concerned with a hundred year’s development plan and we must spare no efforts to give full play to our advantages and try hard to develop and construct the project according to the international standard.

 

Wang Anmin, the president of Qingdao University introduced the whole plan. Liu Shuhong, the President of Qingjian Real Estate Group, Cao Shujian, who is Guoqing Commercial Real Estate Group’s Board Chairman and President, Zou Chuanxue and Sui Keshui, the deputy presidents, accompanied the mayor to inspect.
